Makes 1 quart
Ingredients:
6 pastured egg yolks
½cup maple sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla powder or vanilla extract
3 cups cream
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks with maple sugar and vanilla powder for about 5 minutes.
Gradually beat in the cream.
Pour the mixture into a home ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Store, covered, in the freezer in a shallow glass container.
Remove from the freezer and let thaw for about 5 minutes before serving.
