Chicken with satay sauce with a twist!


If you had ever experience the pain of being on a food intolerance eating plan. Then you know what it is like to miss out on favorite that everyone else is enjoying. If satay was one of those dishes then it is time to rejoice!

Satay Sauce with a twist (peanut free, dairy free, gluten free):

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Sunflower seeds, dry roasted

1 tablespoon Tamari or Soy sauce

1 tablespoon Olive oil

2 teaspoon Sweet Paprika

2 teaspoon Turmeric

1 tablespoon Apricot jam

2 cloves Garlic, crushed

1/2 Lemon, juiced

1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Dry roast the sunflower seeds until golden brown (try not to burn them). Once cooked,

place them in a bowl and add the other ingredients (excluding the water). Add

more/less of ingredients to adapt the flavour to your taste.

Mix the ingredients with a spoon, then with a bar mix, blend them into a pulp, slowing

adding the water to create a creamier mixture or until the desired consistency is

achieved.
